Little Black Dress Initiative (LBDI)

During the week of March 3-9, Junior League of Gaston County, Inc. (JLGC) members will be participating in our second annual Little Black Dress Initiative (LBDI)

A campaign to raise awareness of the opioid crisis that is the cause of more deaths in North Carolina than motor vehicle accidents.

Our Participants will wear one black dress for five consecutive days to:

1. Raise awareness of the opioid crisis;
2. Understand how opioid abuse affects our community; and
3. Fundraise to support the mission of the JLGC to promote voluntarism, to develop the potential of women and to improve the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.

Please consider donating to our campaign by reaching out to any of our members for more information or by messaging us today!
