Sour Cherry Salad
1 - No. 2 can sour pie cherries or 2 1/2 cups
1 pkg. gelatin softened in
1/4 cup cold water
1 pkg. lemon jello
Juice and zest of one orange
Juice and zest of one lemon
1 - No. 2 can crushed pineapple
1/2 cup nuts, if desired
Heat cherry juice to boiling; add gelatin and Jello and stir to dissolve. Remove from heat. Add zest and remaining ingredients and cool. Pour into oiled mold. Refrigerate until congealed.
Must prepare ahead! Serves 6-8 people.
