CELEBRATING 50 YEARS OF SERVICE
1959-2009

Welcome!

The Junior League of Gaston County, Inc. is a not-for-profit women's organization that provides leadership, volunteer training, and service opportunities to its members. Through its activities, League members demonstrate their commitment to and involvement in the entire Gaston Country.

The purpose of the Junior League is to provide volunteer training to its members through workshops, seminars, and hands-on experience in the development and implementation of the League's many projects. Women in the League learn skills such as grant writing, accounting, public relations, event organization, coalition building and public advocacy. In turn, League members contribute these skills to other community organizations.

There are thousands of organizations, each with a specific purpose or goal. There are so many reasons why one should consider becoming part of an organization he or she believes in. By building an effective web site, we hope to get our message out to a larger audience of people interested in similar issues.
